India is wonderful to travel and busy to drive. For most visitors, self-driving isn't the answer — unfamiliar roads, dense traffic and long distances make it more stressful than it's worth. A chauffeur-driven car gives you the freedom of a private vehicle with none of the strain, and a local who knows the way.

Why a chauffeur, not self-drive

With a chauffeur you get a clean, air-conditioned car and a trained driver who handles the traffic, the parking and the navigation. You're free to look out of the window, take photos, rest between sights or work between meetings. For a visitor, that local knowledge is worth as much as the car itself.

How booking works

There are a few simple ways to hire:

  • By the hour (disposal) — a car and chauffeur at your disposal for a block of time, ideal for a day of sightseeing or meetings in one city.
  • Point-to-point — a one-way transfer, such as airport to hotel.
  • Outstation / intercity — longer drives between cities or on a touring route, priced by distance with a daily minimum.

What to expect on the day

Your chauffeur arrives on time, in uniform, and waits between your stops — you don't re-book at each one. Fuel, tolls and parking are handled and itemised, so you're not fishing for cash at every booth. Tipping is appreciated but never expected. Sharing your rough plan in advance helps your chauffeur think about routes and timing.
